snoopy dancing once again...

my editor (the marvelous Anne) gave me a call today. Unfortunately, I was at the hairdressers, so Pete took the call, then phoned me. The news? Tempting Evil has debuted at no 14 on the New York Times bestseller list.

WOOOOOHOOOOOO! :)

(which is basically what I said at the hairdressers, only a whole lot louder. I don't think those ladies knew what hit them :D )

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to every one who bought the book and made the dream possible. I'm amazed, I'm stunned, and so, so grateful.

now I just have to bug Anne or Miriam, and see if they can send me a copy of the Times when the list is officially printed. I'm going to frame it, just to prove it really did happen.

That is great news. I just found your website and blog from following a post on JR Ward's yahoogroup.

Congrats on your new book release.

I happen to be an expat from the States Down Under for the year. Very sad about the trees and drought. Never thought I'd be wishing for rain.

It's well-deserved, Keri. Your books are fabulous. I'm kinda ticked off that I received page proofs of DEVIL in the mail today, because I have to take care of them before I finish Kissing Sin (which I'm about halfway through, and loving). Oh well--gives me incentive to get my work done faster.

Hello Keri. I have so far read all the Riley Jenson Books Published to date. I have read each book in 1 day. I can't put them down. I usually buy 12 books each month to last me. The first romance novel I bought was Sherilyn Kenyon. Then I saw yours at Walgreen's of all places. I have always loved vampire, werewolves, and witch books, but I had never read any Romance novels, let alone any supernatural ones. I especially like your particular approach to the whole werewolf in heat thing. There are so many different versions of Vampire and Werewolf legends and for some reason you, Sherilyn Kenyon, Angela Knight, and Amanda Ashley seam to capture the Vampire and Werewolf Myths in such a way it is extremely refreshing. So many people think of Vampires and Werewolves as Hollywood Movies had made em out to be. Its about time people see that they don't all necessarily have to be evil monsters, and thats especially what I love about your books. When I read Full Moon Rising I had to go out and get the rest. I went to Borders (where my friend works) to check out your others. I had never read a romance novel before and I was actually shocked at first to find your books and Sherilyn Kenyon's in the Romance section. Then again I have never picked up a Romance Novel let alone read one before. I have always liked the supernatural so anything else even the famous Danielle Steele does not interest me. Thats why I have never picked up a Romance Novel and was surprised although I do not know why when I saw so many on Vampires and Werewolves. So now I am ADDICTED to your Riley Jenson books Especially. It seams all of her lovers end up hurting her. First Talon then Misha. I do have to say though that I REALLY WANT Quinn and Riley to end up together. I knew you had 4 books and when I found your site just now I see there's at least going to be 5 books. Its weird that your books come out to Walgreen's before the book stores. Do you have any idea why that is? It was coming to borders on the 6th or the 12th of this month yet I got it at Walgreen's on the 4th. So in the future I know it comes to Walgreen's the fastest so I don't have to wait. I just want you to know you have many fans here in Florida. I got my sister in law into your books and she was only interested in danielle steele and murder mysteries. I can't wait to see what happens to Riley next. Your doing a GREAT JOB and keep it up!
If you ever want to respond my email is dagwood_the_dagger@yahoo.com
I would love to get you to sign at least one of your books for me.
Your Fan,
Sarah Margaret

And Sarah, I have no idea why the books would be coming out so early at Walgreens--maybe they just put them out as soon as they get them. WHich is good for those of you who want to read the next book :)
